Hold the bottle upright and steady, fill the frame with the label, and shoot square on rather than at an angle. Avoid glare — moving away from a direct light source usually helps. Photographing the back label as well gives SWRL considerably more to work with, since back labels carry plain printed text including the importer.
Tap Not this wine? on the identification screen and enter the producer and wine name yourself. SWRL will re-research the correct bottle. If only the year is wrong, tap Change next to the vintage.
SWRL Pro is billed through your Apple ID. To view, change or cancel it, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you've subscribed before and don't have access, open SWRL Settings and tap Restore purchases.
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Open SWRL Settings (the gear icon on the home screen) and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your account, every tasting, your palate profile and every photo you've uploaded. It can't be undone, and it doesn't cancel a subscription — do that separately in your Apple ID settings.
SWRL generates wine information using AI, and it isn't always right. When it can find published notes for your exact bottle it says so; when it can't, it says that too and describes what's typical for the style instead. Always read the actual bottle for anything that matters — ingredients, allergens, alcohol content. If you spot something badly wrong, please tell us.
